Leighton Baines is to return to Finch Farm after withdrawing from the England squad through injury.
The left-back sustained a problem in training on Friday and will now miss the games against Slovenia and Scotland.
Baines’ withdrawal comes a day after James McCarthy pulled out of the Republic of Ireland squad due to a hamstring problem he sustained in last weekend’s 1-1 draw at Sunderland.
